The 17th Annual Healdsburg Historic Homes Tour
April 22, 2007

In support of scholarships and local public schools

Come to Healdsburg for the 17th Annual Historic Homes Tour! The tour takes place Sunday, April 22 from 1-4:30 pm.  Enjoy a beautiful spring day walking around Healdsburg’s historic district and touring some of the town's finest vintage homes and gardens.

Starting at the Healdsburg Museum, Matheson and Fitch Streets, on April 22, 2007, the self guided tour hours are 1:00-4:30 PM. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 the day of the tour.

For tickets:

  • Buy tickets at Toyon Books, Options, Garrett Ace Hardware/Country Store or the Healdsburg Museum, all in Healdsburg.
  • Call 707-433-8005.
Raffle prizes this year will feature opportunities to win one of several “Healdsburg Experience” packages each consisting of an overnight stay at one of Healdsburg’s delightful bed and breakfasts; meals at one of the area’s highly acclaimed restaurants; and fine wines from the Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley and the Russian River appellations. Raffle tickets may be purchased at check-in at the Healdsburg Museum and will also be available for purchase online.

The 2007 tour features 6 homes, all within one mile of the museum. Most of the homes are upgraded for modern lifestyles yet preserve features and flavors of the original styles. A history and photo for each house is in the brochure handed out at the museum. The owners have generously opened their homes for the benefit of education, proud to share the local history.

Directions to the museum: Healdsburg is about 15 minutes north of Santa Rosa on Highway 101. From 101, take the Central Healdsburg exit, continue on Healdsburg Avenue to Matheson St. (3rd stop light). Turn right, go 3 blocks to Fitch St. The Museum is on your left at that intersection.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes. High heels are not allowed in the homes.  The tour will be held rain or shine.

Thank you for participating in the Healdsburg Historic Homes Tour. Each year this popular walking tour helps AAUW fund scholarships for girls and women and provide support for local public education.
