Through generous donors in our community, HEF has the honor of
sponsoring the following Academic and Vocational Scholarships awarded
each year to Healdsburg High School graduating seniors. For application

Nina Zanzi Memorial Art Scholarship
Eligibility: Based on financial need and vocational talent.
Minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipient must be a graduating senior planning to
attend a 4-year College majoring in Visual Art or an accredited art
school.

Van Ornum Scholarship
Eligibility: Based on financial need and vocational talent. Must have a
GPA of at least 2.5. Student must be continuing education at a trade
school, business school, or junior college program.
Amount: Varies, Renewable
Procedure: Application (sponsored by the H.E.F. Foundation)
Deadline: March 15
Joan-Lee Wohler La Salle Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Student must plan to attend Santa Rosa Junior College
studying Speech, Drama, or English.
Amount: 1 or 2/ $250 Scholarships
Procedure: H.U.S.D. Common Application*
Deadline: February 25
Ethel Marie Oakleaf Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Students must demonstrate outstanding service to his/her
school. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5; gives to school in various ways,
working for the betterment of others.
Amount: $500

Deadline: February 25
David Preston Eno Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: For a Marce Becerra or Healdsburg High School student
continuing their education. Preferably for a student planning to enter a
vocational program.
Amount: 2/$250

Richard Bermudes Scholarship
Eligibility: Awarded to a student in the industrial arts or vocational
field. 2.0 weighted GPA.
Amount: $250/varies
Procedure: Application
Deadline: March 15
Ella Hafner Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Student must be a graduating senior female planning to
enroll directly into a four-year college or university in the fall; must
have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Amount: $500/varies
