Healdsburg Unified School Districts, teachers, school
administrators, parents, local businesses, and the Healdsburg community
at large coming together to enhance educational excellence in all
Healdsburg-area public. HEF works with the partners to identify needs
and create solutions through grants, scholarships and other fundraising
programs.
Chartered in 1985, a group of teachers, business leaders and
community activists in Healdsburg, California, came together to develop
funding solutions for the schools of Healdsburg, a town of 12,000 in the
wine country of Sonoma County in northern California.
The Healdsburg Education Foundation, HEF, is a privately funded,
non-profit organization whose mission is to raise money in the community
to directly benefit the schoolchildren of all of Healdsburg's public, schools. Since its inception, HEF has made a real
difference through its many programs.
